DoD Combat Readiness-Medical Research Program
Rapid Development and Translational Research Award
Amount of funding: Maximum of $1.5M direct costs (plus indirects) over 2 years.
Purpose: to pursue military-relevant advanced technology and therapeutic research related to forwarddeployable solutions that can promptly address life-threatening injuries, medical threats, and treatments for Warfighters in current and future battlefield settings. To meet the intent of the award mechanism, proposals/applications submitted to the FY19 CRRP RDTRA must address at least one of the FY19 CRRP RDTRA Focus Areas listed t=in the program announcement.
Eligibility: Stanford faculty with PI eligibility and CE faculty (with an approved CE faculty PI waiver) are eligible. No citizenship restriction.
Not eligible: because this is a research grant, Stanford Postdocs, Instructors, Clinical Instructors, Academic Staff-research are not eligible to request a Career Development PI waiver request.
SoM PIs: please submit the required Proposal Intake Form (PIF) in SeRA one month in advance of the sponsor’s deadline.
