We currently seek outstanding synthetic organic chemists to develop new molecular probes for in vivo imaging. Successful candidates will team up with biologists in the lab to attack a number of problems from enzyme-activity based cancer imaging to single-molecule imaging of proteins and RNAs in living cells, as well as to perform in vivo imaging of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in organic or medicinal chemistry with experience in multi-step synthesis, and possess good written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience with imaging research and synthesis of radioactive chemicals is a plus.
