Lane Donnelly, MD, Awarded the Christopher G. Dawes Director in Quality Endowed Directorship

Lane Donnelly, MD, has been named the first holder of the Christopher G. Dawes Director in Quality at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. This endowed directorship was supported by the generous donations of past and present members of the boards of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health. They created this directorship to honor the tremendous leadership of Christopher Dawes, who served Packard Children’s for nearly three decades.

Dr. Donnelly oversees the hospital’s Center for Pediatric and Maternal Value. The center includes teams from quality and clinical effectiveness, performance improvement, and patient experience. These groups work together to continuously improve care and patient safety, which creates more positive outcomes for our patients.

Dr. Donnelly is a nationally recognized physician and scholar with accomplishments in research, multidisciplinary care, teaching, patient safety, and quality improvement.
