Radiology Postdocs, Corrine Beinat and Marc Stevens, have Received Awards at SNMMI 2019

The 2019 SNMMI Annual Meeting was held June 22-25 in Anaheim, CA. Several members of our Department were recognized for their work at the 2019 event.

Dr. Marc Stevens won 1st place in the Radiopharmaceutical Sciences Young Investigator Symposium for his talk titled, "Radiolabeling and pre-clinical evaluation of a first-in-class CD19 PET Tracer for imaging B cells in multiple sclerosis."

Dr. Corinne Beinat was awarded 3rd place for her talk at the Brain Imaging Council Young Investigator Symposium. Her talk was titled, "Evalutation of [18F]DASA-23 for non-invasive measurement of aberrantly expressed pyruvate kinase M2 in glioblastoma: preclinical and first in human studies."

What a tremendous honor to receive recognition amongst their peers at an annual event that represents the world's top medical and academic institutions and centers. The Department is proud of their accomplishments!
