March 9, 2017

Please join us in congratulating Maryam Aghighi, MD, and Wilson Lin, MD both 2016 RSNA Trainee Research Prize Awardees.

Maryam, a Postdoctoral Life Science Research Assistant in the Daldrup-Link Lab, received her prize for the study, "Non-Invasive MR Imaging Diagnosis of Pediatric Kidney Transplant Rejection Pediatrics". Wilson, a Radiology Resident, received his prize for the study, "Anatomic Reasons for Failure to Visu- alize the Appendix with Graded Compression Sonography: Insights from Concurrent CT".

The Trainee Prize was created in 1994 by the RSNA Program Committee to recognize the contribution of residents to the RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting. In later years it was expanded to include fellows and medical students and in 2005 was renamed Trainee Research Prize.

Congratulations, Maryam and Wilson!
