Course Information

The mostly flat paved 5K (3.1 mile) course runs through the heart of the beautiful Stanford Campus (USATF Certification code: CA22029TEB). The race starts at Koret Plaza just south of Stanford University Football Stadium, winds through campus, and ends in Koret Plaza. There will be one water station located midway through the course. The course is well marked and timed by a professional timing company. There is no time limit to complete the course.
 

Additional Course Information

For the safety of all participants NO bikes, scooters, skates, skateboards or similar items are allowed on the course. Wheelchairs and mobility devices for the disabled are permitted. Strollers are allowable but asked to line up at the back of the start area.  
 

Chip Timing

All particiapants will be chip timed.


Team Registration

One person must serve as team captain and create your team (register >create a team). Once the captain creates the team, then other team members can register. If your team has already been created, go directly to the registration page and select your team from list of teams during registration.

 

Post Race Activities

Post-event activities will include refreshments, awareness booth, games, and award ceremony.
 

Awards 

  • Awards will be presented to the top 3 males and 3 females overall and to the following age categories:
    • 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over  
    •  Overall awards will be determined by gun time.  Age group awards will be determined by chip time.

*Please note: Awards must be picked up at the event. No exceptions.
 

COVID-19

In response to the rapidly evolving events surrounding COVID-19, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the 23rd Race Against PH to adhere to Stanford University and local/state guidelines. All collected funds, whether designated as registration or donation, are non-refundable and will be used for pulmonary hypertension research and education.
