Research Interests
My research activties cover both basic molecular neurogenetics and clinical trials in spinal muscular atrophy. My research lab is currently using cellular and animal models to study the pathogenesis of motor neurons diseases. My clinical research team is currently engaged in therapeutic trials in an attempt to identify effective therapeutic agents for children with spinal muscular atrophy.
