Scientific Focus

Current Research Interests

Dr. Ho did her PhD work in HSV pathogenesis and postdoctoral research in CNS gene therapy with viral vectors. Her current interests are in viral and fungal infections in immunocompromised patients and her research focuses on infection complications in neutropenic patients. In collaboration with Dr. C. Dekker of the Stanford-LPCH Vaccine Program and with Dr. J. Brown of the BMT Division, she is also conducting clinical trials on vaccines, antivirals and antifungals as a co-investigator.
