Simulation and experimental results for parallel transmit. a: Transmit-sensitivity patterns of a four-channel system, b: offresonance map, c: Bloch-simulated profiles, and d: experimental profiles. About 300 Hz off-resonance offset was created by changing gradient-shim values. B(max) = 0.5 (i.e., 50% of the full scale RF) was targeted through reVERSE method (with α = 0.8). Although the reVERSE pulse was 25% shorter than the original pulse, it maintained the profile fidelity with the reduced peak |B(1,n) | from the article by Lee et al (pp 353-362).
