    Research Interest

My research interest is translational molecular virology, with a specific focus on hepatitis C virus (HCV). Using both biophysical and genetic tools, I aim to identify viral and host targets that are essential in the viral life cycle and subsequently develop high-throughput assays to identify novel compounds that can inhibit these targets. Particular attention is given to compounds that can be re-purposed for HCV treatments.
