  • Description:  The goal of this large scale project conducted in collaboration with the provincial CDC and health departments is to increase HBV and liver cancer awareness and education, and increase HBV immunization rates among Chinese youths. In one of these projects conducted in the Guangdong province that has one of the highest HBV and liver cancer rates in China and funded by the Sun Hung Kai Kwok Foundation and the Providence Foundation in Hong Kong, we are providing free 3-shot catch-up HBV vaccination for 100,000 high school and college students, and develop educational tools that can be incorporated into the school curriculum.
