Research Interests
My research has focused on understanding the biological basis of affective functioning in humans using a multi-modal imaging approach. I am interested in understanding how the human brain integrates and codes emotional information and in how in some cases can result in the development of psychopathological states. To date, I have focused my research on investigating emotional processing associated with personality traits, genes, and with psychiatric conditions such as in Williams syndrome.
