As part of the Pediatric Bipolar Disorders Program, Dr. Singh conducts research in the phenomenology, neurobiology, pharmacology, and genetic aspects of bipolar disorder in children. These studies include brain imaging (MRI, MRS, fMRI), medication, and psychotherapy trials. She is particularly interested in risk factors for the development of bipolar disorder and associated morbidities, and early intervention strategies to delay the onset and progression of symptoms.
