Current Research Interests
My current research interest lies in the area of uremia, namely the role of protein-bound solutes in uremic toxicity and various techniques to lower their levels in dialysis patients. This translational research involves utilization of analytical techniques such as HPLC and mass spectrometry. I am particularly interested in the growing field of metabolomics, which can potentially be applied to uremic toxin research.
