Research Interests

My principal research interest is occupational and environmental lung disease. I have special interest in the health effects of fibers, particles, vapors, gases, dusts, and fumes in exposed workers. I also conduct research on the health effects of indoor and outdoor air pollution in humans. My work includes experimental human research studying the acute effects of biomass fuel smoke inhalation. I also conduct observational analyses assessing exposure-effects relationships in selected populations.
