Scientific Focus
Current Research Interests
Four current areas of research focus in conjunction with the Nadeau laboratory:
1. Investigating the safety and effectiveness of sublingual immunotherapy as an alternative to traditional allergy shots.
2. Improving the clinical usefulness of currently available diagnostic tests for evaluating allergic sensitivity.
3. Understanding the mechanisms and best treatment to care for patients with Eosinophilic Esophagitis.
4. Early studies of novel management strategies for severe food allergy.
