Scientific Focus
Research Interests
My research interests are in the field of robotic radiosurgery and quality assurance of new medical devices.
In robotic radiosurgery, I have focused on real-time motion tracking of tumors which move with respiration. Recently, this research has expanded into tracking heart motion as well.
Quality assurance of novel medical devices seeks to develop safety protocols for devices in which clinical failure modes are not yet known. In addition, I am studying process design and information flow.
