Scientific Focus
Current Research Interests
Dr. Kumar's primary research focuses on diabetes autoantibodies as predictive and diagnostic markers of type 1 diabetes, with ulitmate goal of secondary prevention in at-risk children. Other active research includes dietary triggers of type 1 diabetes in children, and pubertal hormone trends with aromatase inhibitor use in males with poor growth potential.
