Scientific Focus
Current Research Interests
Research interests include examining neurophysiological development of interoceptive processing in children with psychiatric and genetic disorders, particularly PTSD, Fragile X Disorder and Eating Disorders.
Clinical interests focus on treating children, adolescents and young adults with PTSD, eating disorders, psychosomatic disorders, chronic pain and severe emotional disregulation. Common treatment approaches utilized include family based behavioral therapy, mentalization based psychotherapy, ACT, MBSR, CBT, biofeedback and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
