Current Research Interests
My research goal is to optimize pharmaco-economics of treating pediatric chronic diseases. Overall research aims are to improve health outcomes, healthcare delivery, and cost-effectiveness in gastrointestinal diseases. In particular, I am interested in comparing the cost-effectiveness of various therapeutic and diagnostic strategies in inflammatory bowel diseases, transplantation, and celiac disease. Using cost-effectiveness modeling and database analyses, my research attempts to compare the health and economic impact of expensive pharmaco-therapy options and screening strategies of various chronic diseases from a health policy standpoint.
