Scientific Focus
Research Interests
As part of a current study in Dr. Cooke’s lab, I am investigating the angiogenic mechanisms by which endothelial alpha 1 and alpha 7-nAChR mediates the vascular effects of nicotine. Additionally, with my knowledge of stem cell and regenerative biology, I am interested in cell-based therapy using nuclear reprogramming for vascular regeneration in critical limb ischemia. I have developed my research ability and has learned the broadened scientific knowledge related to angiogenesis and vascular regeneration in Cooke lab.
