Scientific Focus
Research Interests
Grant Budas completed his PhD in cardiac physiology at the University of Dundee, UK before joining the Mochly-Rosen lab in 2006. Grant’s research is focused on the role of protein kinase C epsilon and aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) in myocardial ischemia and other oxidative-stress related diseases. Grant is also designing peptide regulators of intra and inter-molecular protein-protein interactions.
