Scientific Focus
Current Research Interests
Our research concerns health policy, both domestic and international, clinical policy, and the development of analytic methods for evaluating policy questions. I am particularly interested in technology assessment and the application of decision theory to clinical/health policy problems. My group has a special interest in questions related to disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and cardiovascular disease. We also perform systematic reviews on a variety of topics. We also work on developing methods for producing normative, model-based practice and screening guidelines.
