Research Interests

My research focuses on the interactions between the endocrine and immune systems in women. The mechanisms of progesterone's role as an immunomodulator are investigated at the molecular level. Clinical research interests involve the role of steroid hormones in the development of thyroid autoimmunity and other autoimmune diseases in women.
