Research Interests

My interests include parasitology and international health; I have investigated cryptosporidium and angiostrongylus outbreaks; schistosoma and strongyloides seroprevalence in refugees, and the means of distribution and subsequent impact of insecticide-treated bednets for malaria and filariasis prevention in Nigeria and India. In addition, I work on toxoplasmosis epidemiology in Colombia, and the impact of deforestation on the epidemiology of vector-borne infectious diseases in Indonesian Borneo
