Research Interests
Dr. Edler has been active in the field of medical education throughout her career and formally trained in both qualitative and quantitative educational research methods. Her interests are primarily in understanding the nature of teaching in medical education and in high acuity peri operative medical education. Recently she has investigated teaching and learning in high fidelity patient simulation and performance assessment using patient simulation. She is currently serving on local, national and international medical education and educational research organizations and advisory boards.
