Current Research Interests
To investigate how the well-known quality of life instrument (SF-36) interacts with the established lifestyle risk factors (such as poor diet, obesity, and physical inactivity) in the prediction of prognosis for various chronic diseases (cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases).
To compare the prevalence/incidence of various chronic diseases (cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases) and their associated risk factors between the native vs. immigrants (to the US) Bangladeshis.
