The Office of Institutional Planning provides high-quality, professional expertise in support of ad hoc planning studies and analyses of current interest to the School’s academic and administrative leadership. The Office is particularly well-positioned to design and implement planning and analysis studies that cross traditional organizational or functional boundaries.
The Office of Institutional Planning can support the School’s policy and management deliberations through a number of different roles depending on the needs of the office and their project. We can:
- Provide primary staffing to a project or study under the direction of the cognizant Dean, Chair or Director.
- Serve as support staff to a study or project, contributing to the deliberations and analyses as part of a project team.
- Provide study and data access advice to project leaders.
- Provide data to staff in other offices.
By building long-term effective working relationships with leaders and staff across the institution and with peers throughout academic medicine, the Office of Institutional Planning’s staff strive to bring a broad array of resources to bear on the projects in which they are involved.
