Heather holds a PhD in community psychology with an emphasis in evaluation methodology from Vanderbilt University.  Before joining the Office of Institutional Planning, she worked for two years in Graduate Medical Education at Stanford Hospital and Clinics as an education specialist. She has extensive experience in field research methodology and has published in the areas of health service evaluation and medical education.
