For more than 25 years, Nina Wallerstein, DrPH, has been involved in participatory research with youth, women, tribes and communities.  In a recent lecture hosted by Stanford's Office of Community Health and Spectrum, she presented her latest research on community-based research and processes that lead to improved participation and health outcomes.
