The Stanford Summer Research Programin Biomedical Science has been in existence in different forms since 1993, and is one of the central diversity recruitment efforts for the PhD Programs in Biosciences. In its current form, approximately 22 students are invited to participate in our fully funded, eight week, paid, residential internship program for undergraduates from diverse backgrounds who are interested in preparing for and entering Ph.D. programs in the biomedical sciences.
