New Fellows Orientation

Li Ka Shing Center for Learning & Knowledge, Stanford

Dear New Fellows,

Welcome! We are excited to have you join the Pediatrics family at Stanford University as you embark on your fellowship journey. Please know that you have many individuals who are here to support you during your training, including the program directors, program coordinators, Fellows' Council, Office of Pediatric Education and Fellowship Leadership Team.

New Fellows Orientation was designed as a springboard to get you ready for this journey. Some of the elements of orientation are required "business" items and other elements are designed to prepare you for your new role as a fellow. Most importantly, we were very purposeful about including activities that create and reinforce a larger fellowship community and showcase the vast support network we have in place.

Detailed information can be found on the orientation website and in the attached comprehensive brochure that includes an FAQ section. Note, that we will have volunteers both days to help direct fellows. Parking is at Searsville Lot L-22, a volunteer will be stationed there on Thursday, July 5, 7:00-8:00am to hand out parking permits to those who have requested them. Also, we will have volunteers that morning to help guide you to Li Ka Shing Learning and Knowledge Center, LKSC 120 for registration and a welcome at 8:00am by Dr. Mary Leonard and the fellowship community. There is construction in the lobby area, near the MedCafe, please enter on side of building nearest Beckman (we will have volunteers to help direct!).

Please feel free to reach out to us or your fellowship program for more information. We look forward to meeting all of you this coming Thursday!

Sincerest regards,

Fellowship Leadership Team
