Several community organizations are offering financial assistance to help cover rent, utility bills, etc. These are local, we know them to do great work and they support our local patients and families

Eviction Moratoriums: Eviction moratoriums temporarily protect residents who cannot pay rent due to a substantial loss of income related to the virus. There are new moratoriums in place in San JoseSan Mateo County, San Francisco, and San Diego. Other local cities are considering taking up the issue.

Federal update: The House passed a federal aid bill to offer emergency supplemental appropriations providing support for unemployment benefits, free virus testing, and additional funds for food assistance and Medicaid.
