  • Paclitaxel + Bevacizumab (Avastin) for the Treatment of Metastatic or Unresectable Angiosarcoma

    This is an open-label, single-arm, multi-center, Phase 2 study with Paclitaxel in combination with Bevacizumab in patients with Unresectable or Metastatic Angiosarcoma. The study aims to determine the safety and effectiveness of combining two drugs Paclitaxel and Bevacizumab in the treatment of Angiosarcoma that cannot be removed by surgery, or has spread to other parts of your body. The primary objective is to evaluate 4month non progression rate. The secondary objective is to evaluate overall response rate after 3rd and 6th cycle, median duration of response, 6th and 12th month survival, toxicity of Paclitaxel and Bevacizumab combination, toxicity of maintenance Bevacizumab and to collect paraffin-embedded tumor blocks for angiogenesis markers and tissue microarray.

  • Optimizing ctDNA-based MRD Assessment in DLBCL, MCL, and FL Patients Undergoing CAR Therapy

    In this study, invesigators propose to analyze 150 DLBCL patients, 50 MCL patients, and 100 FL patients to determine the clinical utility of ctDNA- as well as circulating tumor cell (CTC)-based MRD assessment in CAR therapy patients. The project detailed in this protocol will utilize the clonoSEQ platform as specific quantification of residual DLBCL/FL/MCL and correlate its results with radiologic assessment of disease and clinical outcomes. Invesitgators predict there will be a strong correlation between ctDNA and PET/CT and dynamic changes in ctDNA will precede radiologic evidence of disease recurrence in patients following CAR therapy.

  • Sapropterin as a Treatment for Autistic Disorder

    This study is intended to provide a definitive test of the hypothesis that elevating sapropterin (tetrahydrobiopterin, a cofactor for several key brain enzymes)concentrations in the CNS will result in measurable improvements in core symptoms of autism in young individuals, under age 6 years.   • Laparotomy vs. Drainage for Infants With Necrotizing Enterocolitis

    This study will compare the effectiveness of two surgical procedures -laparotomy versus drainage - commonly used to treat necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) or isolated intestinal perforations (IP) in extremely low birth weight infants (≤1,000 g). Infants diagnosed with NEC or IP requiring surgical intervention, will be recruited. Subjects will be randomized to receive either a laparotomy or peritoneal drainage. Primary outcome is impairment-free survival at 18-22 months corrected age.

  • Safety Study of Human Myeloid Progenitor Cells (CLT-008) After Chemotherapy for Leukemia

    Ex vivo expanded human myeloid progenitor cells (hMPCs; CLT-008) have the potential to accelerate neutrophil recovery and decrease the risk of febrile neutropenia and infection in patients receiving chemotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), or high-risk myelodysplasia (MDS). In this study, the safety, tolerability and activity of CLT-008 administered after "standard of care" cytarabine-based consolidation or induction/re-induction chemotherapy will be determined by monitoring for adverse reactions, infusion reactions, graft-versus host disease (GVHD), neutrophil and platelet recovery, hMPC persistence, infections and complications.

  • Nilotinib in Patients With Relapsed or Metastatic Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis/Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor/Diffuse-Type Giant Cell Tumor

    Nilotinib is a drug that is used to treat a form of a blood cancer called leukemia. Nilotinib works by blocking the action of a protein that might be important for the growth of pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS).   • Late Hypothermia for Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy

    This study is a randomized, placebo-controlled, clinical trial to evaluate whether induced whole-body hypothermia initiated between 6-24 hours of age and continued for 96 hours in infants ≥ 36 weeks gestational age with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy will reduce the incidence of death or disability at 18-22 months of age. The study will enroll 168 infants with signs of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy at 16 NICHD Neonatal Research Network sites, and randomly assign them to either receive hypothermia or participate in a non-cooled control group.
