Pediatric Clerkship Education

Pediatrics 300A

Pediatrics 300A provides an eight-week introduction to a wide range of clinical problems in inpatient and ambulatory pediatrics. The goal of the clerkship is to enable students to bring the core values and principles of pediatrics to the care of all patients, across disciplines.

Pediatrics 338A

Pediatrics 338A provides an advanced experience that mimics an inpatient month of pediatric internship. Students are assigned to an inpatient subspecialty team at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.  Visiting students must have completed an inpatient rotation in pediatrics to enroll in Pediatrics 338A.

Visiting Medical Students

We offer a variety of opportunities for visiting students.  Please see our Visiting Clerkships page for links to information on rotations, schedules, and how to apply.

Funded Visiting Rotations for Underrepresented Minority Students

We offer funded visiting clerkship positions in general pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties from August through November for qualified applicants from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine.
