9th Annual Pediatrics Research Retreat

Li Ka Shing Center for Learning & Knowledge - Berg Hall

Dear Pediatric Community,
It was another intriguing day hearing about the latest research efforts of our faculty and trainees. From clinical mysteries solved thanks to advances in the lab (Joe DeRisi’s keynote) to healthcare policy to the latest in cell therapy and gene editing, the day was packed with stories of innovation, discovery and the future of medicine. The poster session proved popular, as usual, and at the end of the day we celebrated the work of our trainees in the poster competition, which was won by postdoctoral research scholar Julia Co. Congratulations to all our participants for another successful retreat!

Warm regards,

Mary Leonard, MD, MSCE
Elizabeth Egan, MD, PhD
Mark Kay, MD, PhD
David Maahs, MD
Elizabeth Mellins, MD
Julien Sage, PhD
Gary Shaw, DrPh
Bonnie Halpern-Felsher, PhD, FSAHM
