Preclerkship Years

The first and second years of the MD curriculum at Stanford center on an integration of elements of investigation, basic science, and clinical practice within individualized educational blocks called scholarly concentrations. The Division of Primary Care and Population Health offers a variety of courses to meet the needs and interests of current Stanford students.


Clerkship Years

The third and fourth years of the MD curriculum at Stanford centers on developing clinical skills through training in broad clinical clerkships, including typical outpatient, inpatient, triage, intensive care and interventional venues. The Division of Primary Care and Population Health offers a variety of clerkships to meet the needs and interests of current Stanford students.
