Clerkship Courses

Overview

The Department of Pathology offers a four-week introductory pathology clerkship for students interested in exposure to the fields of anatomic and/or clinical pathology (see PATH 302A).  A more advanced elective that can be customized for in depth, longer-term exposure to one area of pathology is also available (see PATH 398A). Rotation locations include Stanford Health Care, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, the Palo Alto VA and our Hillview Avenue Laboratory.

If you are interested in enrolling in one of our clerkship courses, please send a completed departmental application form and your CV to the correct clerkship coordinator as indicated on the application. Please do not submit this application to the clerkship office.

Once we receive and approve your visit, please apply via the Clerkship website: https://med.stanford.edu/clerkships/apply.html. Note: please do not submit this application until you are instructed to do so.
