Years in Lab: 2019 - present
I am an undergraduate student at Stanford University majoring in Human Biology with a strong interest in neuroscience. My role as a Substitute Instructional Aide working with students with special educational needs spurred my interest in the neurobiological causes of social impairments and developmental differences. I hope to help the Parker Lab further our understanding of the mechanisms underlying social impairments as well as to be involved in studies testing novel medical interventions for children with autism. I am excited to be a member of the Parker Lab, and look forward to expanding my knowledge of how neuroscience research is conducted!
