Director of Clinical Therapeutics Curriculum

Dr. Eric Ip, Pharm.D.

Dr. Ip is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Primary Care and Population Health.  He is the Director of Clinical Therapeutics Curriculum for the Stanford MS PA Program. He is also Chair and Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences at Touro University California College of Pharmacy and the Director of the state-wide CSHP-Touro University Advanced Practice Pharmacist Certificate Program.  He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy and completed his post-graduate residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center.  Dr. Ip co-leads the Diabetes Management Program as a clinical pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente Mountain View Medical Offices and is one of the leading researchers in the field of anabolic steroids and performance enhancing drugs.

Shadi Doroudgar, Pharm.D.

Dr. Doroudgar is an an Associate Course Director of the Clinical Therapeutics Curriculum for the Stanford School of Medicine, Master of Science in PA Studies program.   She is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences at Touro University California College of Pharmacy. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from University of Southern California (USC). She completed her post-graduate year 1(PGY-1) Pharmacy Practice Residency at California Northstate University/ Sutter Sacramento Sierra Region and her PGY-2 Psychopharmacology Residency at Touro University California/ Center for Behavioral Health in Vallejo. Dr. Doroudgar is currently the Lead Clinical Pharmacist at Pathways to Wellness Clinics and also a practicing pharmacist at Sutter Center for Psychiatry in Sacramento. Her research interests include studying the effects of various drugs on driving, sleep and actigraphy, and pharmacy education.

Laura J. Baumgartner, PharmD

Dr. Baumgartner is an Associate Course Director of the Clinical Therapeutics Curriculum for the Stanford School of Medicine, Master of Science in PA Studies program. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Sciences Department at Touro University College of Pharmacy and practices as a Trauma/SICU clinical pharmacist. Dr. Baumgartner received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University Of Minnesota College Of Pharmacy and two years of post-graduate training in critical care at the University of Colorado Hospital and University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. Her research and clinical interests are in critical care and infectious diseases.
