Courses and Conferences

The program further supports education and provides a variety of educational experiences by sending our residents to specific courses/conferences each year, such as the list below.  If residents are interested in attending other courses/conferences, our program supports this as well with use of each resident's Educational Budget.

PGY2s - AO Basic Trauma Course - Our PGY2s are sent to the AO Basic Trauma Course in the fall to help gain the principles of trauma

PGY3s - AAOS Arthroscopy Course - In the fall, our PGY3s are sent to this Arthrscopy course, which focuses on the fundamentals of shoulder and knee arthroscopy. Our third year is very outpatient subspeciality focused, so the timing of this course optimizes arthroscopic learning for the upcoming year.

PGY5s - AAOS Board Review Course and AAOS Annual Meeting
