Department of Ophthalmology Calendar

Due to continuously emerging concerns regarding COVID-19, we are making adjustments to our Byers Grand Rounds programming and will continue to re-evaluate on moment to moment basis. Please check back regularly for up-to-date information on Grand Rounds and other lectures and teaching.

The Byers Eye Institute at Stanford hosts weekly grand rounds (CME credit is available for attendees), a bi-monthly Vision Science Seminar series, an annual Bettman Lecture in June, and other occasional lectures.

Unless noted otherwise, all grand rounds in the 2019-2020 year will be held from 8-9 AM on Thursdays in the Byers Eye Institute 2nd floor Conference Room D/E, 2452 Watson Court, Palo Alto. Most Vision Science Seminars are Fridays 3-4 pm, basement seminar room 0500, 1651 Page Mill Rd, Palo Alto. Please check the full calendar below for schedule and location updates, holiday closures, as well as information on other department lectures, seminars, and events happening throughout the year.
