Stanford Sinus Center
Patient Care

Dr. Peter H. Hwang - Director

The Stanford Sinus Center was founded in 1999. This was the first center on the West Coast to offer comprehensive medical and surgical care for chronic sinusitis by a fellowship-trained otolaryngologist. The Center has over 3,500 patient visits per year. It is considered the leading sinus care practice in Northern California.

The Stanford Sinus Center offers advanced care for patients with chronic sinusitis, nasal polyposis, fungal sinusitis, nasal obstruction, and tumors of the nasal cavity and anterior skull base. Minimally invasive and computer-assisted surgical techniques are available for patients with refractory or complex nasal and sinus disease.

The Stanford Sinus Center also has an active research program in clinical and basic science aspects of sinus disease. Current studies include optimization of sinus wound healing and evaluation of surgical outcomes in chronic rhinosinusitis.

Dr. Hwang is currently accepting appointments for new patients at (650) 723-5281.
