"I work in a high tech company in the Bay Area as a product manager. My job calls for long hours, especially as I approach a product launch date.

Over the years I have suffered with allergies and noticed that every year my sinus condition was gradually worsening. The last two years were the worst because I was fighting a sinus infection 5 times a year. The sinus infection cycle consisted of really bad sinus congestion for about 2 weeks, followed by 5-8 days of low energy and fatigue. Each time I would require a 14 day course of antibiotics. To say that the sinus infections had a negative impact on my daily life would be an understatement – not to mention the impact on my job.

I was referred to Dr. Hwang to address my chronic sinus infections.  He performed sinus surgery, and I can report that Dr. Hwang and his entire team did a fantastic job. I had my surgery on a Thursday, went home the same day, and was back at work on the following Monday. The recovery plan given to me by Dr. Hwang was very accurate. My expectations around the surgery and recovery were exceeded."

I was a classic candidate for sinus surgery: sinus headaches, stuffy nose, inability to "clear" when flying, cough, post nasal drip and more. Then in the fall of 2007, I decided to see Dr. Hwang for his special sinus surgery. The surgery was painless, very little bleeding, comfortable recovery and MOST importantly, a near complete cure of all of my symptoms! I have been amazed at how healthy I have been (one cold in 6 years after averaging 3 a year before that!) and how nice it has been to breathe out of both sides of my nose at night, which has resulted in much improved sleep and freshness upon awakening.

Needless to say, Dr. Hwang's surgery has been a lifesaver for me, and he and his staff have given me a new quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Hwang and all of those who assist you, especially Jane Wang, NP, in this amazing surgery and incredible pre- and post-surgery care. I only wish I had done it sooner!
