  • Nonprofit community-based organizations
  • Schools and school districts
  • Community health centers
  • Public health departments and county health systems
  • Ethnic-based groups and organizations
  • Local collaborative initiatives

TEACHING SERVICE RESEARCH

AWARENESS & ENGAGEMENT

Cultivate awareness of community-engaged partnerships through annual events such as:

Community Health Symposium

The first Symposium, held in November 2002, was planned by medical students to highlight research conducted by their peers, faculty, fellows, staff, students, and community partners locally and globally. Today we continue to hold the event with student leadership and coordination.

Community Partner Appreciation Day

An opportunity to acknowledge, highlight, and celebrate partner organization’s mission, triumphs, and achievements!
