This workshop is designed to enhance participants’ effectiveness in mentoring students.
Run as a three-part series, from 8:30 am - 10:00 am in LKSC 208. Attendance at all three sessions is strongly encouraged as content builds from one session to the next
Session 1: Introduction to Mentoring and Giving Feedback

Learning Objectives: Be aware of the characteristics of a good mentor; know the responsibilities of a mentor; know the responsibilities of a mentee; understand the principles of giving feedback; be able to apply a model of feedback in a mentoring relationship.
