Portraits of Stanford Medicine: Timothy Keyes
This is the first installment in a special 1:2:1 series that will introduce you to the many faces of Stanford Medicine. In this podcast, Timothy Keyes, a second-year MD/PhD student, shares what influenced him to consider a career in medicine and what challenges he’s faced in his career so far. Keyes is the current president of LGBT-Meds, a medical student group for students interested in health care within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities. This spring, he'll be teaching a course at the medical school about issues in LGBT health called "Queer Health and Medicine."
