Dean Pizzo on the Li Ka Shing Center
The future of Stanford's medical education has arrived and it's housed inside the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge. The five-level limestone and glass facility is the school's first new education building in 50 years. The LKSC, which officially opens this fall, will help leverage Stanford's strengths in the biomedical sciences, as well as a variety of complementary disciplines, to better prepare tomorrow's doctors and scientists, and make a far-reaching impact on our region, our nation and the world. In this podcast, Dean Philip Pizzo, MD, discusses the new center and how he believes it will transform medical education.
