Lab coats for new PhD students

First-year PhD students in the 14 bioscience programs and in bioengineering attended the lab coat ceremony on Sept. 30.

First-year PhD students in biochemistry await their moment onstage during the lab coat ceremony Sept. 30 in Berg Hall at the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge. New graduate students in the 14 bioscience programs and in bioengineering were on hand for the annual rite, where they were introduced and helped into their new white coats. A reception with family and friends followed the ceremony.
