The Steven Chang Research Lab
Welcome to the Steven D. Chang Research Lab. Our program, led by Dr. Steven D. Chang, includes clinical experts in the Departments of Neurosurgery and Neurology with leading research scientists in the fields of Genetics, Biochemistry and Bioengineering. Importantly, clinical and basic research within our lab depends highly on the participation of patients that are seen at Stanford and are valued partners in our efforts. Our group has also benefited greatly from the talented student researchers who have worked with us to discover new diagnostics and therapies for these rare diseases.
Our Research
The goal of our research efforts is to develop and implement new technologies to improve the diagnosis and treatment of rare neurological conditions. We are focused on finding less invasive ways to diagnose disease and translating our discoveries in the lab to patient care.
